Apple AirPods Pro is one of the best in the class earphone which is called earbuds as per Apple the first look came in the year 2019. It looked so amazing with the design and look. Apple AirPods the earlier versions are also the best in the class. The design has a long story for that let us look into it in details. So many people might not know about how Apple achieved that design without any extra layers of soft covers that used to be in all the ear phones during that time. Still it had some design flaws that has been addressed with the new AirPods Pro Gen 1.   Now Apple as announced the Generation 2 AirPods with some more improved features.

AirPods Pro was designed to make sure all users can have the experience of the wireless air buds. There were some issue with the older model of AirPods in which it was not able to fit tight for many users. As the ear shape differs Apple was not able to fit for all even though they tested across the globe using huge number of users and testing. So to fix the main issue of this they came up the new model named AirPods Pro. They introduced ear tips with various sizes small, medium and Large. This helped to solve the problem of fitting in the ear.

Apple Added software know as Ear tip fit Test which helps to identify the right ear tip. So that you do not worry about selecting the right one. The feature was so cool. I too had the same issue with AirPods as it was not having a comfort fit in my ears. Was not able to use it during walking or running. So when I got the news of AirPods Pro I was happy. I got it once it is released and tried it to make sure it fits well. The features were good and it was able to fit nicely. Now I do not need to worry about the AirPods that may fall or not.

Ear Tip Fit test

The Ear tip fit test is so cool, I detects your ear with advanced sensing techonolgy and plays some sound. Then it identifies how much the sound escapes from using the particular ear tip. If there is so much of space it identifies and then updates you to change it. The changing of the ear tips is bit easy and also tricky. For the first ear tip it was simple as you need to snap in to the AirPods but to remove it I was bit nervous If it will get damaged. As you need to pull it out and then attach the new one. It is simple only but first time users will feel this for sure. The attachment setup is so simple and firm.I would say it is a great design. Once the test results are pass then it is good to go.

Sound Modes in AirPods Pro first look

AirPods Pro has 2 sound modes which helps to have the full experience of the music and conversations. Transprancey mode and Acitive Noise cancellation modes. This was one of the new things introduced in this model of AirPods. When I tried it for the first time it amazed me.  These features can be controlled either on your phone or just using the switches on the AirPods pro tips. So let us see in detail on this.

Active Nosie Cancellation

In Active noise cancellation mode the outward facing microphones detects external sounds and it counts with the anit-nosie. This cancels the external sounds before you hear them. This will make you feel that you are alone in the crowd or noisy environments also. The music that plays in the internal speakers will be so clear and crisp. You can get the experience without external and also internal disturbances. The internal noise in the ear is also cancelled using the internal microphones that is the next level of design. It is just only the sound from the AirPods Pro nothing else. What an amazing feature. I am still using this mode when I want to listen music or watch movies at home or when outside.

There is a caution here. As you will not be able to hear the outside sounds you need to be extra careful when you are using this out of home.

Transparency mode.

This is like the normal mode in which the external noise is allowed in to the ears. The external facing microphones are disabled so that there will be no noise cancelling done form external. Still the internal facing microphone will do the noise cancellation for the sounds inside the ear path. This will help for a clear sound inside along with the external sounds also. This is helpful when you want to listen to something and want to be aware what is happening outside. So it is kind of outdoor use feature we can term it. From my experience I feel this mode is also so good.

Battery life

The battery life of AirPods Pro Gen 1 is s good.The buds can lost  for 3.5 to 4.5 Hours based on the mode you use. With Active noise cancellation it is less with 3.5 Hrs. So the biggest advantage is the charring case which can help to extend your battery for up to 18 hrs. it is like the mini power bank. when ever you keep the AirPods inside this case it start to charge. You nee to charge the case that is important. If you want more time in case of emergency it is good to use one AirPods s that you can double the usage time.

Connectivity

It uses bluetooth to connect to the devices , simple and seamless integration with Apple devices. You can pair it with other non-IOS devices also. This is so good feature. Apple has not restricted this so that all users can enjoy. You will be missing some features in non-IOS devices like the controls but still the sound quality is so good. I have tested it on my Android phones also, it is pretty good.

Apple AirPods Pro First look on Generation 1 is so good, the things I loved is the design, ear tips to solve the issue of falling out. It has got a good noise cancellation mode. Transparency mode is alas good when you are using outside environment and when you want to listen to music while talking. The audio performance has been improved form the older AirPods. It pairs up with the Apple iPhones very well and other phones. When you have Apple watches with cellular features it is a great companion to take up the calls and listen to music without using the iPhones. Really you will be amazed by the AirPods pro performance. There is a new version that is yet to be released called the AirPods Pro Gen 2. Let us see how it will be.
